What the Maintenance Team Does
Repairs & Improvements — fixing fences, maintaining buildings, repairing equipment, and making sure everything on site is safe and functional.
Grounds & Woodland Care — clearing paths, managing woodland areas, maintaining activity zones, and keeping the site tidy and accessible all year round.
Site Development — planning and building new features, improving facilities, and helping shape the future of Fox Coverts.
Seasonal Projects — from winter prep to summer upgrades, the team works throughout the year to keep the site in top condition.
Supporting Events & Activities — ensuring the site is ready for district events, camps, and activity days, often working early mornings or late evenings to make everything run smoothly.
Their work is hands‑on, varied, and incredibly rewarding. Whether it’s repairing a gate, clearing storm damage, or building something brand new, every task makes a real difference to the young people who use the site.
