Wardens are the heart of the campsite’s day‑to‑day operation. They’re the first people groups meet when they arrive and often the last to leave at the end of a busy weekend. Their calm presence, practical support, and deep knowledge of the site help leaders focus on what matters most: giving young people unforgettable adventures.
What Our Wardens Do
Welcome and support visiting groups — helping with arrivals, showing people around, and making sure everyone feels confident and prepared.
Open and close the site — ensuring buildings, facilities, and activity areas are safe, secure, and ready to use.
Provide on‑site guidance — offering advice, answering questions, and being a reassuring point of contact throughout a group’s stay.
Monitor facilities — keeping an eye on equipment, reporting issues, and helping maintain a safe environment for young people.
Help the campsite run smoothly — from managing bookings to coordinating with the maintenance team, wardens keep everything ticking along behind the scenes.
