Fox Coverts Campsite
Fox Coverts Campsite comprises of sixteen acres of undulating woodland and sheltered grass sites on the outskirts of Hinckley. Fox Coverts offers both camping and indoor residential sleeping facilities together with an on-site Target sports range, Climbing tower, campfire circles and pioneering resources as well as much more.
District indoor shooting range
Hinckley District Scouts operate our own indoor shooting range for air rifle and air pistol shooting.

District Outdoor Climbing Tower
Hinckley District Scouts operate our own outdoor climbing tower based at Fox Coverts Campsite. The tower is operated by our district climbing team.
From beginners taking their first tentative steps to seasoned climbers tackling advanced routes, our wall caters to all levels, fostering a sense of inclusivity and camaraderie. They provide a canvas for creativity, where every route is a puzzle waiting to be solved, demanding problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
District shooting team
Hinckley District Scouts has a popular shooting team, made up of Scouts who have completed their Master at Arms Badge through Explorers and Adult Leaders.
The shooting team meet on the third Thursday of each month.
District Archery Team
Hinckley District Scouts has a dedicated team of volunteers who deliver Archery courses not just at the campsite but also within Hinckley Centre.
District Climbing Team
Hinckley District Scouts has a dedicated team of volunteers who deliver Climbing at the campsite.
