As we near the end of 2023 and we reflect on another great year in Hinckley, I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank all our amazing volunteers for all their hard work in delivering Scouting to our young members.
There are already some exciting activities planned for 2024, with our program teams working hard on making the arrangements as we speak.
There are many unsung heroes in our District, working hard in the background to make things run smoothly. From those supporting our groups, to those supporting at District level.
So, if you have helped out on a parent rota, sat on a group executive committee, or helped raise funds for your group, you have made a difference. Thank you.
The leaders in our groups spend a lot of their time above and beyond their normal meeting nights, arranging activities, booking trips, and sorting through all those badges our young people earn.
I am very proud of Hinckley District and all our amazing supporters. Your dedication is outstanding and I look forward to what we can achieve together in 2024.
